After 27 years, cricket is played at Quetta Stadium again

QUETTA: On Sunday, two significant Pakistan Super League (PSL) teams met in an informal match, bringing cricket back to the Quetta stadium after a 27-year absence.

A sizable number of residents came to the stadium to watch the much anticipated game. To prevent any untoward incidence, strict security precautions have been prepared.

Sarfraz Ahmad is leading the Quetts Gladiators in their matchup with Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi.

Peshawar Zalmi has a 185-run targit set by Quetta Gladiators.

Iftikhar Ahmad, a batsman for Zalmi, scored 94 runs in the last over with six sixes and three wickets taken by Wahab Riaz.
