Bitcoin Prices Rise in North and South America Following the Release of the Jobs Report and Arweave’s Meta Effect.
Despite the U.S. jobs report indicating faster-than-expected growth in October, bitcoin (BTC) was higher, suggesting the Federal Reserve may have to continue aggressively in striving to cool down the labour market.
Fidelity Crypto, a new service from Fidelity Investments, will soon enable ordinary investors to trade bitcoin and ether without incurring any transaction fees. In addition to providing cryptocurrency investment services to institutional clients, Fidelity has released a bitcoin ETF in Canada and many cryptocurrency ETFs in the United States (although spot-bitcoin ETFs have yet to be approved in the United States).
After Twitter said it will no longer develop a cryptocurrency wallet, the value of dogecoin promptly plummeted by more than 10%. This is all part of Elon Musk’s ambitious new plan for Twitter, which includes cancelling a number of features. Users will be able to add and remove funds from their wallets without using any other services, and so goes the theory.
Late Thursday, Gala Games was in disarray as its native GALA coin dropped 20% due to speculation of a billion-dollar hack or rug pull. However, a company reportedly affiliated with the crypto play-to-earn platform afterwards claimed that it had successfully attacked itself in order to foil the heist.
